Former radio DJ Kara Noble, who infamously sold a topless snap of Sophie, the Countess of Wessex just weeks before her wedding to Prince Edward, is now blaming Chris Tarrant for the saga.

Noble, who was fired over the scandal as a presenter on Heart FM, made a rumoured £100,000 in 1999 when she sold the photograph of Tarrant holding up a young Sophie Rhys-Jones’s T-shirt.

She claims Tarrant exacerbated the fallout by expressing his outrage at the publication, forcing her to leave the country following her public vilification.

The picture, taken 11 years earlier when the future Countess was a 23-year-old PR for Capital Radio, was decried as ‘premeditated cruelty’ by the Palace, although Noble now maintains: ‘It was just one blurred boob, is what it was. He made it [the press fallout] worse, there’s no doubt.’

Speaking in Los Angeles, Noble, 58, daughter of Carry On actress Marianne Stone and theatre critic Peter Noble, confirms the pair are still on non-speakers. ‘I did drop him a little line recently, but I didn’t get a response.

I just said I hope you’re good, you know. My life’s great now and I’m sorry if I was a flibbertigibbet, and I hope I didn’t hurt you in any way and I hope you’re happy, I hear you’ve not been well.

‘It was a nice little note. I thought it was very nice, but you know.

‘He’s not big on forgiveness, is Tarrant. Never was, never was.’

After the scandal, Noble relocated to LA and left her British husband for an American wrongly convicted of the murder of his own mother.

Kara fell for Bruce Lisker after becoming his prison penpal. They wed on the second anniversary of his release and celebrate six years of marriage this weekend.

Madonna praises Rocco on his 17th birthday

Rocco Ritchie is painting a brighter picture of family life now he is no longer the subject of an endless custody battle between parents Madonna and Guy Ritchie.

As he celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday, Rocco showed off his creative streak posing next to his own striking painting, which Madonna posted online. ‘So proud of you Rocco!’ she wrote.

Madonna, 58, is also the birth mother of 20-year-old Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, whom she had with celebrity fitness trainer Carlos Leon.

And she adopted four children from Malawi: David Banda and Mercy James, both 11, and four-year-old twin sisters Esther and Stella.

She will be Britain’s first black marchioness, but Emma Thynn, aka Viscountess Weymouth, achieved fame years ago after being mistaken for singer Beyonce.

The mother-of-two — who is married to Longleat heir Ceawlin Thynn — reveals: ‘I was mistaken for Beyonce when I was 17, which was really funny. I was in France, walking on the beach, and I didn’t see the photo being taken — it was printed in at least three magazines as Beyonce.’

The 31-year-old Viscountess has no problems attracting publicity now — although it is not known if Beyonce, 35, has been erroneously invited to any stately home dinner parties.

What would HM say, Matt?

What would the Queen make of The Crown actor Matt Smith’s exposed chest, hippie-style necklace, rumpled linen shirt and scruffy backwards baseball cap as he ambled around New York this week?

Smith plays Prince Philip in the hit Netflix drama, where he wears Philip’s starched white uniform of a commander in the Royal Navy.

The former Doctor Who sports a full beard for season two of The Crown, out in December, but girlfriend Lily James clearly prefers a clean-shaven look off-duty.

His sister Carole Middleton enjoyed her share of airport food in her trolley-dolly days, but Gary Goldsmith has finer tastes.

While dining at Nice airport this week, the millionaire was outraged about having to shell out 94.50 euros (£86) for two plates of fish and chips, filet de boeuf and drinks. Goldsmith shared his bill on social media, whining: ‘The most expensive c*** meal ever.’

It’s a far cry from niece Pippa’s recent wedding, when gourmand Gary tucked into beluga caviar, muntjac carpaccio and langoustines.

JAY-Z Breaks Silence About Infamous Elevator Fight With Beyonce's Sister Solange

JAY-Z finally opened up about his controversial and violent clash with Beyonce's sister Solange at the 2014 Met Gala party.

On Friday, the 47-year-old rap mogul discussed different issues in his life and career during an hour-long podcast interview with the Rap Radar. JAY-Z did not hold back in sharing his side of the story, including the infamous elevator fight with Solange.

Although the rapper did not give specific details on what sparked the argument and how it escalated to a physical fight, he confirmed that it was the only time they had a disagreement and haven't fought since.

The father of three also reiterated that he's always had a great relationship with his wife's sister, adding that Solange is not just his sister-in-law but her sister.

“We've had one disagreement. Before and after, we've been cool. That's my sister. Not my sister-in-law, no, my sister. Period.”

Proving that the elevator fight with Solange was already a thing of the past, JAY-Z quipped about the incident during the interview and expressed his admiration to his sister-in-law's music.

“I think we went into the elevator as great artists. I've always loved Solange's music; I thought she was slept on until this last album [“A Seat at the Table.”] I think Bey made an incredible album before, a hundred of them.”

To recall, JAY-Z and Solange were engaged in a physical altercation while inside an elevator. According to reports, the trio attended a Met Gala after-party at the Standard Hotel in New York when it all went down.

In a surveillance video obtained by TMZ, Solange can be seen ferociously attacking JAY-Z, wildly kicking and swinging at him inside the elevator. Beyonce can also be seen standing next to the rapper without getting physically involved.

The fight became so intense that a bodyguard had to step in and hold back Solange, who continues to strike JAY-Z. The rapper, on the other hand, did not attempt to strike her back.

Eventually, the group exits the elevator and leaves the venue — Beyonce and Solange in the same car while security walks JAY-Z in a different one.

To this date, it remains unclear what really caused the violent fight. Despite the lack of information, Beyonce did address the incident by releasing a statement, claiming that the “family has worked through it.”

Beyonce even brought up the controversial feud in the remix version of her hit song “Flawless,” saying, “Of course, sometimes s— go down when there's $1 billion on an elevator.”

JAY-Z also appeared to make a public apology to Solange on his new song “Kill Jay Z.”
