Beyonce and Jay Z's insane offer for vegan fans

If you’re both a vegan and a Beyonce fan then today is your lucky day.

The Crazy In Love singer and husband Jay Z, who are both vegans, are offering one of their fans free tickets to their shows “for life” but only if they commit to a plant-based lifestyle.

Through the couple’s 22 Days Nutrition company and The Greenprint Project, people can pledge to introduce vegan meals to their diet in order to win, with the lucky person being chosen at random on May 22.

But there was a few catches — terms and conditions reveal the “for life” offer was only valid for 30 years and open to US residents.

Despite this, Beyonce’s offer seemed to persuade many of her fans, who took to Twitter to joke they would do anything to win free concert tickets.

Beyonce and Jay Z have been committed to a plant-based diet for years, first revealing their decision to go vegan in 2013.

The couple were introduced to the diet by Jay Z’s exercise physiologist and friend Marco Borges and wrote in a forward for his new book that being vegan wasn’t just about what you ate.

“Having children has changed our lives more than anything else,” Jay Z and Beyonce wrote in The Greenprint: Plant-Based Diet, Best Body, Better World, according toNME.

“We used to think of health as a diet – some worked for us, some didn’t. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible.

However, they write that they don’t expect everyone to be vegan 24/7 – they are simply encouraging fans to eat a more plant-based diet, adding that it has a “profound impact on our health and the environment.”
