Atlanta soul sisters Chloe x Halle want to show the world ‘just how beautiful it is to be Black and how amazing it feels’ following their sensational performance of America the Beautiful at Sunday’s Super Bowl LIII.

‘We wouldn’t change our skin color for anything. We love being Black women and are so proud to say that,’ 20-year-old Chloe Bailey said in Essence‘s inaugural digital cover story.

‘As Black women, we are feeling incredibly empowered. We’re not afraid to speak our minds – and we owe that to all of the beautiful Black women who came before us and are killing it right now.’
