There’s a new Beyonce waxwork and it’s somehow even worse than all the others

Ah, lads.

Have you ever come face-to-face with a Beyonce waxwork that was even half decent?

Of course you haven’t, they don’t seem to exist.

Last year, Madame Tussauds unveiled their Beyonce figure and it honestly looked like more Britney Spears than it did Queen Bey.

Seriously, like.

Just, why?

Somehow, though, a museum in Niagra Falls has managed to top this with a wax figure that’s so bland, so blond, and so not-Beyonce that we honestly can’t seem to look away.

Oh, it’s also white.

No surprises there given the fact that most of them seem to be… for some reason.

According to the curators of the wax museum in Niagara Falls, this is Beyoncé. 🧐🧐🧐 pic.twitter.com/jrhd1J1qlI

The waxwork was first spotted by Twitter user Ama Scriver who took to social media to ask where in God’s name Beyonce was in this figure.

Nowhere we can see, anyway.

And while it may seem like a bit of craic to say that Queen Bey should not be disrespected in this way, she really shouldn’t be – because Beyonce is, in fact, not white.

We know, looking at these waxworks, you’d almost be forgiven for not knowing.

Seriously, cognitive dissonance brought on by insufferable whiteness is why we keep getting this bizarre looking Beyonce wax things. https://t.co/BRLYVMymfd

While the museum have yet to address their questionable depiction of Queen Bey, Madame Tussauds did try and offer an explanation for their own Beyonce figure last year.

According to them, the waxwork was colour-matched and any distortion was the fault of the lighting.

They said:

“Our talented team of sculptors takes every effort to ensure we accurately colour match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted.

“Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures.”

Whatever you say, guys.
